How To Make A Dog Stuffed Animal

Today I bring you a super piece of cake dog stuffed animal sewing pattern, Puggy the Pug.
This dog stuffed animal pattern was inspired by a commenter on my xxx Free Stuffed Animal Sewing Patterns with Tutorials post. In that post, I had included a plush pug sewing pattern that is no longer available due to the visitor shutting downwards. The commenter mentioned that her girl badly wanted to make the stuffed creature. That comment struck me, and then I immediately started to create a plush pug pattern.

Free Domestic dog Stuffed Animal Sewing Pattern
This stuffed domestic dog sewing pattern is a great introductory project for a beginner sewer that wants to learn to make stuffed animals. The free stuffed brute sewing pattern uses fleece and felt fabrics plus poly-fil stuffing. The eyes can be created from felt or safety eyes tin can be used in place of felt. The stuffed pug toy can exist sewn by machine or by manus.

Materials
- pug sewing pattern (download above)
- tan fleece
- black fleece (ears)
- fair felt (face)
- blackness felt (face and eyes)
- pink felt (tongue)
- grayness felt (nose)
- safety optics *optional
- white felt (optics)
- brown felt (eyes)
- poly-fil stuffing
- coordinating thread
- bones sewing supplies
How to Make the Costly Pug
Download and print the paper design. Cut out all paper pattern pieces.
Transfer all design pieces onto the fleece and felt fabrics and cut out.
Sew FACE B onto the OUTER FACE. Sew the tongue onto the OUTER Confront with a single vertical straight sew together down the middle of the tongue.
Sew FACE A onto the OUTER FACE, and so it slightly overlaps Confront B and the TONGUE.
Layer the eye circles with the white on the bottom, so brown, then black. The white and chocolate-brown should peek out to one side.
Sew the optics and nose onto the face.
Layer two EAR pieces right-sides together and sew together around the edges with a 1/4″ seam allowance, leaving the lesser edge open. Clip the seam allowance at the indicate to reduce bulk. Plow right-side out. Repeat with the 2nd ear and set bated.
Layer two TAIL pieces right-sides together and sew around the edges with a 1/iv″ seam allowance, leaving the lesser edge open. Clip the seam allowance at the point and around the corners to reduce bulk. Plow right-side out and gear up aside.
Place the Face onto ane Torso piece and sew in place.
Pin the EARS and TAIL in place onto one Trunk piece. The ears and tail should face up inward (see photo higher up).
Place the other Trunk piece on pinnacle and pivot together. Sew around the perimeter with a 1/4″ seam assart, making sure to leave the bottom open up for stuffing.
Carefully turn the pug correct side out and fill up with stuffing.
Close up the pigsty with a ladder stitch.
To finish making the plush pug, fold down the ears and paw run up into place.
My toddler son decided to proper noun his dog stuffed animate being Puggy the Pug, and says he'southward a good cuddler. :)
